Lorraine Hare, Dogs Trust Education Officer

Previous to this role, I worked with my local authority, South Lanarkshire Council, as a member of their Road Safety Team. I worked with schools, pupils and parents to encourage children to walk and cycle to school. I also delivered road safety and active travel workshops for school staff parents and young people of all ages.

My enthusiastic and positive workshops ensured that the children grasped the important safety themes and messages but had lots of fun in the process!

I'm delighted to be working with Dogs Trust as part of their exciting youth education programme especially working with schools to promote responsible dog ownership and helping children to understand the importance of dog welfare.
