Louise Close, Dogs Trust Education Officer

Before joining Dogs Trust, I worked in the Further Education sector for 5 years teaching adults and school leavers English, Maths and Social Skills and also assisting them in finding employment or modern apprenticeships.

My passion in life is animals and at present I am the proud owner of 2 rescue dogs, Libby and Skye. Both were from Dogs Trust Darlington and they get on extremely well with my four resident rescue cats!

I'm very excited to be given the opportunity to work for the largest dog welfare charity in the UK and to teach young people about the responsibility of dog ownership.
