I began working as a Dogs Trust Education Officer when the West London Rehoming Centre opened in March 2006. I teach over 300 workshops a year giving free educational workshops. That means over 10’000 children here in London have heard our messages of responsible dog ownership!
It’s wonderful to see how over the past few years our Education Programme has grown here in our capital city. I recently changed sides of the city and became the London Education Officer. This means that I’ll be helping even more young people in need of our help with dog related issues. You may have spotted me negotiating my way around in my trademark yellow ‘dogmobile'.
I have three small black Patterdale Terriers who are regulars to the schools. All of my dogs are behaviour tested and I always make sure that children are aware of how to stay safe around a dog before meeting any one of my special four legged assistants!
You and Megan definitely gave the kids an unforgettable and wonderful experience. The knowledge and information you have brought let kids know better interaction with dogs and know how to make dogs feel comfortable as the same time keep themselves safe.

The kids really did have a brilliant time would gladly have spent the whole day learning with your staff and playing with the dogs! They've got some wonderful memories from visiting the Rehoming Centre. You have 60 small people who'd be very happy to see you again.
