Joining Dogs Trust as the East Midlands Education Officer is a dream job. It allows me to combine both my passion for dogs with my teaching skills as well as being able to take my best friend to work with me. I have two canine companions, Sammy, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and my Terrier cross, Bailey who is a great classroom assistant.
Prior to joining the Dogs Trust Education team, I worked as an English Teacher and have been a volunteer working with animals all over the world. All of my informative fun workshops are curriculum linked and a great way to spread the word about responsible dog ownership and safety around dogs.

The whole thing was great. The activities kept the girls involved and Anthea had a lot of enthusiasm. They really seemed to pay attention to the type of care that a dog needs

The children enjoyed everything about the workshop, meeting Bailey and learning about a dog’s needs through fun and games
